Frida has been managing projects at The University of South Australia (UniSA) and the South Australia Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), with her latest project in a National Health and Medical Research Institute (NHMRC) funded study ‘Novel Intervention to Address Methamphetamine Use in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities’. Frida worked previously at SAHMRI on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HIV Awareness Week (ATSIHAW) 2015 and the SA Aboriginal Health Research Accord signing high-profile event.

At UniSA Frida co-designed and managed the multiple award-winning volunteering program, Community Connect, at the University of South Australia engaging over 4000 students. During her time at UniSA, Frida designed and facilitated workshops, being invited as a panel member for the School of Engineering discussing the benefits of volunteering in STEM programs. She was also an invited speaker at the annual National Association of Graduate Career Advisory Service Conference (NAGCAS) 2016. During her time at UniSA she received excellent reviews regarding her facilitated workshops alongside her role as supervisor and mentor.
